On June 7, Kakha Koberidze, deputy governor of Kvemo Kartli hosted the representatives of the Eastern European countries "Lions clubs" European Sectors and listened to them about the future plans of the organization. The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor of Rustavi Municipality Gocha Loria and Deputy Chairman of Sakrebulo Davit Rekhviashvili and Nino Kavtaradze, Kvemo Kartli Pensioners Union and local coordinators of the NGO.
The regional administration of the visit, the activities of the thematic presentation of the Eastern European countries, "the LIONS Clubs" was the coordinator in Georgia, Jorn Andreessen, northern countries, "the LIONS Clubs" was an international director bentie Spencer, of "LIONS Clubs' President Nino Beselia, the regional coordinator Tamar c Genavam and "Lions Optical Clinic" founder director of the Medical University Professor Nino Karanadze.
It is noteworthy that the organization of the Lyons is counting more than 100 years and is the only representative of the NGO sector, which is a member of the United Nations established since its inception.
"Lyons" brings together millions of representatives of all continents worldwide and carries out charitable and humanitarian activities in educational and medical direction. Today, under the initiative of Kvemo Kartli office of the Georgian Pensioners Union, Davit Dzamukashvili, founded the "Club of Lions of Kvemo Kartli Kvemo Kartli".
It is noteworthy that "Lions-Club" is active in Rustavi since 2015 and is led by Lia Ghugunishvili.
