On May 9, the events dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of victory over fascism took place in Rustavi, deputy state attorney-governor Kakha Koberidze, city mayor, Irakli Tabagua, representatives of local council and Russian veterans attended Kvemo Kartli.

The head of the city and the city headed the two veterans living in Rustavi, Margalita Tsereteli and Bondo Manjgaladze, who visited the family personally, congratulated the day of victory on fascism and gave symbolic gifts.
