On May 31, a sports tournament named "Geo", which has become a tradition in Rustavi Public School №2, was dedicated to the memory of Georgian champion Guram Gugenishvili. In the frames of the event, Deputy Governor of the Region Zaur Dargal personally handed over Guram Gugenishvili Cup to the championship champions students who thanked the students for their activity and wished them success. Other school participants in the tournament were awarded with medals and certificates.

The evening of the memory was attended by Guram Gugenishvili's family members, officials of the regional administration and city council, friends, teachers and coaches.
