On July 17, the International Conference on "Open Governance at Local Levels - Cities in Action" was organized by the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALAG).

Rustavi Mayor Irakli Tabagua opened the conference, addressed the audience with the welcome address of Koba Koberidze, deputy governor-governor of Kvemo Kartli. The conference participants discussed the reforms carried out by local self-governments in order to establish open, transparent and accountable governance within the framework of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) program.

It should be noted that open governance strategy, electronic petition, civic advisory council, city hall innovation hub and other important projects are being implemented in this direction.
