On September 23, 200-year anniversary of the settlement of German waste was taken to the village of Asureti, Tetritskaro municipality.The event was attended by State Governor of Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze, German Ambassador to Georgia Heike Feij and Governor of the Hamburg Region, Theophil Gallo.The first deputy governor, Aleksandre Metreveli municipality officials and invited guests from Germany were also present at the jubilee evening.The thematic exhibition was arranged within the event and the viewers got acquainted with photos of the life of the Germans in the village of Asureti. Exhibition and sale of handmade items was held.A documentary film was screened. Local and invited crews performed singing numbers for guests.

The regional governor and guests later visited the German cemetery.
