On July 19, Grigol Nemsadze, State Representative-Governor in Kvemo Kartli got acquainted with the investment  in the field of livestock  carried out by the Latvians in the Dmanisi municipality. Deputy Minister of Agriculture Iuri Nozadze, Head of Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Agency, Mikheil Ghurtskaia, National Food Agency and Dmanisi Municipal Heads were present at the site together with the governor.

Foreign investors arranged a cattle farm on 500 hectares of land in Dmanisi territory with active support of Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Agency and Local Authorities and brought up the 350"Kalmukhuri"  breeder  at the first stage of the project. Up to ten local people are employed and as investors say, the number of employed people in the future will increase.

It is noteworthy that such kind of large investment in the field of cattle has not been implemented so far.
