Tetritskaro Local Museum

In the center of Tetritskaro, at 34 Tamar Mepe street, there is Tetritskaro Local Museum. There are many relics here which will help visitors form a general idea about Tetritskaro’s cultural and historic past. Many unique relics are exhibited here, from later stone age to the earliest history displays

A four wheeled combat chariot from Bedeni burial grounds dated to the end of II millennium BC, bronze buckles of Gudarekhi village from Renaissance period, bronze bridle for a horse from Paliani village, numerous  earthenware bowls, goblets and jugs with teapot tubes, large-size pots and kvevris  from Bronze Age leave visitors surprised.

There are ethnographic relics exhibited here: kvevri, bellows, tug, iron and wooden cradles, wooden fridge, Georgian national clothes etc.

Visitors of the museum can get information about the cultural history of different nations living on the territory of municipality and different historical-cultural sites located here.
