Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia Sozar Subari, Governor of Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze and the Mayor of Tsalka Municipality Ilia Sabadze visited the eco-migrant families and handed over the residential and property certificates.
Sozar Subari and Grigol Nemsadze attended the procedure of transfer of the house to the 9-member family of Makaradze in the public center of Tsalka municipality.
"The process of legalization of houses for eco-migrant families is actively going on.Only in Kvemo Kartli region since 2015 up to now 400 families have been given a living space.It is important that the state constantly cares about improving living conditions for eco-migrants.This process will continue in the future as well, "said Kvemo Kartli governor.
The legalization of houses purchased for eco-migrant families in 2004-2009 only started in 2015.At this stage, more than 200 eco-migrant families have been transferred to the residential area in Tsalka municipality.Throughout the country, the house has been enacted by more than 500 families and this process continues.
