On July 5-9, Deputy Governor of Kvemo Kartli Kakha Koberidze, along with other officials of the regional administration and municipalities, paid a working visit to the Republic of Poland. The visit was preceded by the 5 year memorandum of cooperation between Marneuli and Kobitnitsa self-governments, which was signed by Merab  Topchishvili, Marneuli Municipality Governor  Leshek Kulinski. Within the visit to the Baltic coastal tourist region, delegation members visited Komitini, Ustka and other cities in agricultural and industrial enterprises, got acquainted with the specificity of the work of local self-government bodies.

Working visit held meetings with businessmen and planned in autumn this year, a group of Polish businessmen to Georgia to arrive in detail to learn about the country's investment environment, to meet with local authorities and representatives of business sector, tourism, and discuss further development of economic ties .
