On December 25, in the administration of the State Governor in Kvemo Kartli the final meeting of the Advisory Council focused on the problems of ethnic minorities was held by Grigol Nemsadze, the governor of the region.Deputy Minister of State for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lasha Darsalia and Deputy Minister of Education Lia Gigauri attended the meeting.
In the course of the meeting, representatives of the central and local authorities, as well as representatives of the Public Defender's Office and NGOs presented them with the thematic report before the audience.Participants of the meeting spoke in detail about the implemented and planned works for the improvement of the process of civil integration of ethnic minorities throughout the region.Attention was focused on educational, cultural and sport activities, as well as infrastructure projects.
It is noteworthy that sessions of the Council of Ethnic Minorities were held in Kvemo Kartli municipalities and participated in the participation of representatives from different communities.
