On July 17, the Governor of Kvemo Kartli discussed the necessity of strengthening youth directions in local self-governments.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Zaur Dargali, Heads of Administration and Municipalities, Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, USAID "International Development of International Organizations" and WORLD VISION Georgia representatives.

The sides discussed plans to strengthen youth services and discussed the particular document, which will be created within the project initiated by the Ministry.

The goal of the project is to elaborate a strategic document for youth development and to implement it in its 18 municipalities at the initial stage.  It is noteworthy that a pilot project in Kvemo Kartli region will be implemented in Tsalka, Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities.
