On June 11, the Governor of Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze met with the deputies and the heads of the Marneuli municipality and got acquainted with the archeological works on the settlement.

The representatives of the Georgian National Museum, the professors and studios of the University of Toronto, discovered another vessel of wine and other items.

"In the Marneuli municipality, we will have a more clear picture about the ancient wine and viticulture culture in the territory of Georgia after processing the material discovered and found on the epic hill several days ago. Special expeditions from different groups are continuously underway on this territory and I hope there will be many more important exponents to existing materials.

As you know, the Imiri’s  hill is one of the 10 best findings of the world, and therefore it has an important place in the country and our region's tourist map. Our aim is to develop the territory more and more and to use the existing resources as much as possible, "said the governor.
