On June 4, the State Representative-Governor of Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze and Rustavi Mayor Irakli Tabagua held a working meeting together with representatives of the Georgian Melioration and Oil Company BP for preventing the causes and consequences of the disaster in the city.

In the course of dialogue, the parties discussed the situation of existing drainage systems in the city and set specific plans for improving the situation.

Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure is actively involved in the disaster elimination works. According to Grigol Nemsadze, the meeting will be held in the Ministry.
