The city's central and internal districts were flooded as a result of heavy rain in Rustavi. During the whole day, the state-recovered governor of Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze, with the mayor and representatives of the corresponding services were involved in the disaster liquidation works.

Ilia Begiashvili, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, visited the disaster zones and spoke with the local government representatives.
