On April 20, the Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia Solomon Pavliashvili and regional governor Grigol Nemsadze held a working meeting with local municipal officials.

The meeting was attended by the deputy governors, representatives of the local municipality of Georgia, food safety and local forestry agencies. Solomon Pavliashvili focused on the necessity of further strengthening the joint work of the regional representatives and municipalities of the Ministry.

Participants of the meeting discussed the existing needs in the field of environmental protection and agriculture development. In the future, joint plans to be implemented.

"Next informational meeting was held in the Kvemo Kartli province, in which we discussed environmental protection and agriculture issues. It is important that the heads of municipalities are reliably informed about the approaches to environmental protection and agriculture development. I think that, together with the central government, we will take effective measures in this direction in accordance with the coordinated work and recommendations, "Grigol Nemsadze said.
