In Kvemo Kartli the state governor-Governor Grigol Nemsadze awarded successful Kvemo Kartli sportsmen and their coaches together with the deputies.

"I am glad that Kvemo Kartli is distinguished by the number of successful young athletes and we have many champions in different types of sports.  Today we met some of those who have just recently identified our country and region. I would like to thank them for successful competitions in the European Championship and to promote healthy lifestyle in younger generations. I hope their sports career will be more successful in the future and will be repeatedly awarded the name of our country in the international arena, "said the governor.

It should be noted that Lasha Guruli, a Russian boxer, has recently won the status of European championship in Romania. Nikoloz Begadze was also participated in the championship, which is champion of European champions in 2017.

Marneuli Otar Naveriani brought Georgia another victory and won a bronze medal at the European Championship in Antalya, Turkey.

Zurab Kavtaradze and Giorgi Koshadze were members of the U-18 team of Georgia, who is a member of Rustavi Khalvashi and Georgian national team.

Grigol Nemsadze gave special thanks to coaches of successful young athletes Tariel Bluashvili, Zurab Mushkudiani and Davit Kakabadze.
