On March 15, the Governor of Kvemo Kartli met with inhabitants of the village Shaumiani of Marneuli municipality.

Grigol Nemsadze listened to the needs of the locals and discussed with them the future projects in the village. It is noteworthy that rehabilitation works of Shaumiani-Tserakvi motor road are going on in Marneuli municipality. This section of the road has not been repaired for years and created a problem for the population. This year they will face this problem. Within the framework of the infrastructural project, the 5 km long road will be completed. The project is funded by 3 672 395 GEL from the state budget.

Construction of the village shaumiani nursery school is underway. The project is financed from the local budget of 38 136 GEL.

Rehabilitation of internal roads is also planned in the same village for which 409 907 GEL is allocated from central and local budget.
