On August 24th, Marneuli Festival "United Caucasus" - ONE CAUCASUS was officially opened.
The ceremony was attended by Kakha Koberidze, deputy governor of Kvemo Kartli, along with the heads of the municipality.
The Festival "Unified Caucasus" is held in Marneuli municipality since 2014 and annually offers audiences a wide variety of programs.
The activities of the festival started at 15:00 today.
For a month, volunteers have created different decorations. The children's space, handmade items, workshops and cinematographic zone for film lovers were arranged on the territory.
The second part of the event was dedicated to music events that were opened by Georgian folklore ensemble "Gordela" with favorite and familiar singing numbers. And then, at the big and small stage, the foreign performers came to the audience.
The Festival "United Caucasus" has been held for the fourth time in the course of three neighboring cultures - Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and combines musicians, artists, animators, architects and volunteers from all over the world. The aim of the festival is to create an inspiring and safe space for young people living in the South Caucasus where they will be able to realize their own and abilities.
This year the festival is hosted by representatives of 12 countries: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Armenia, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Tunisia, Senegal and the United States.
