Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Zurab Alavidze has been informed about ongoing works on internal roads throughout the country and continues monitoring of projects.

At the same time, Minister visited Kvemo Kartli Governor with Governor Grigol Nemsadze and Davit Jikia, the city Mayor and inspected the road rehabilitation works in the roads and streets of Rustavi.Rehabilitation of internal streets in the city has not been implemented for years.

At this stage, intensive work of 70 yards of Rustavi is underway, where the asphalt cover is made, drainage systems are being implemented and road infrastructure is being regulated.

At this stage the works will be completed by the end of the year. 2 million GEL is allocated from the state budget for the project.
