Grigol Nemsadze, governor of Kvemo Kartli, along with Mayor of Marneuli municipality and representatives of local government attended the event dedicated to Mother Language in the village Azizkendi. The students were presented with thematic activities before the guests.

The governor thanked organizers of the event and highlighted the need for knowledge of national language in ethnic minorities. "For some decades now we have a very proud pride of Mother Language Day. It is great and appreciated that representatives of ethnic minorities living in our region are actively involved in these events and are interested to learn the state language thoroughly. Important contribution has been made to teachers in this process that do not try to work and try to learn Georgian language as much as possible to facilitate the integration of future generations into society "- noted the governor.
