Assistance and rehabilitation, as well as providing education-rehabilitation services. Representatives of NGOs plan to develop a project in the nearest future to set up similar institutions in other municipalities.
"Women's rights and promotion of gender equality is the priority direction of our government, but this issue is still one of the main challenges.
That is why it is a necessity to activate and take effective steps in this direction. It is important for both the public and the non-governmental sector to engage in these processes in order to identify the problem and provide assistance. This is the purpose of the European Union project, in which the Bolnisi municipality already has a crisis center, where beneficiaries are assisted by professionals in different directions. I would like to thank the project leaders for the work that we have done in our region. I would like to emphasize that we will continuously support all those initiatives and projects against violence against women and their rights are directed towards the protection, "Grigol Nemsadze, the governor of Kvemo Kartli, said at the end of the meeting.
