On March 13, the State Representative-Governor in Kvemo Kartli Grigol Nemsadze attended the presentation of the Local Development Strategy elaborated within the RDFG project of the EU partner organization in the Tetritskaro municipality. Representatives of the European Commission Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development representative, Susan marazuela Aspiroza, Environmental Protection and Agriculture Minister, Nodar Kereselidze, EU delegation and implementing partners, as well as local institutions and purchases Development Group (LAG) members.
Within the scope of the event, presentation of National Policy on Rural Development was organized and guests were acquainted with Tetritskaro Municipality with the support of the EU supported village development project.
At the end of the meeting, the presentation of additional programs under the project was held. The participants of the employment program shared the history of their success with the audience.
It should be noted that the project "Sustainable Development of Village in the Tetritskaro Municipality" Association is implementing regional development for the future Georgia (RDFG) with financial support from the European Union. The project aims to improve living standards in Tetritskaro region by implementing innovative socio-economic models.
The objective of the project is to achieve local and public sector involvement in decision-making process. RDFG's partners are the Agro-Technologies Association (ATA) and the Lithuania Development Groups Network (VVGT).
