Grigol Nemsadze, State Representative-Governor in Kvemo Kartli together with Deputy Minister Alexandre Metreveli and Head of Regional Development Agency Mr. Mikheil Ghurtskaia visited the greenhouse "Planta" and enterprise "Geofidi" in Gardabani municipality.

The governor personally got acquainted with the working process. Leaders of the enterprises informed Grigol Nemsadze about the results achieved and future plans.

It is noteworthy that "Planta" greenhouse is one of the successful investment projects of the Georgian Co-Investment Fund in cooperation with the French company Richel Group and the Dutch company Certhon.The first phase of the project was completed in 2015, whereas greenhouse farming developed 4.4 hectares. , The result of the second phase of the project "Plant" expanded to 12 hectares. 22.2 million USD is being invested in the project. Granulated Combined Food Production Factory "Geofidi" produces high quality granulated-combined foods for cattle and pigeons and poultry, based on modern scientific and technological achievements, with the support of highly skilled specialists.

"Geoffidi" is equipped with modern technological equipment and is used mainly by local farmers to produce cereals.
